Lucky you! The first five people to respond to this post will get something made by me! My choice. For you. This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:

- I make no guarantees that you will like what I make!
- What I create will be just for you.
- It’ll be done this year. {might be a little while}
- You will have no clue what it’s going to be. It may be a story. It may be poetry or maybe even some creation I haven’t even invented yet. I may draw or paint something. I may bake you something and mail it to you. I may even sew something for you. Who knows? Not you, that’s for sure!
- I reserve the right to do something extremely strange.

(Just kidding, not that strange or cruel, I hope! I'm not that great of a seamstress anyway!)

The catch? Oh, the catch is that you must re-post this on your blog and offer the same to the first 5 people who do the same on your blog.

http://www.laughyourway.com/blog/young-marriage/

Not to say that all people in their late teens or early twenties should get married.... but, to anyone who ever said I was too young to get married, too young to have kids yet, or that we have too many kids...HA!

Do you know what these things are?

...I'll give you one clue: this guy got a hold of the camera.

Easter, finally, sort of

We had a nice "quiet" (as quiet as any family of 5 can be) Easter together. It also was Stake Conference for us, so Scott was home for a change. I decided we should take a picture... too many (or too few?) takes later, this (the second) was the best one.

Scott thought we needed to document the food as well: strawberry jello salad, asparagus, cheese/herb biscuits*, pork tenderloin*. We also had plenty of loot from E.B. (that's why the strawberry jello salad passed for dessert) but somehow it didn't get documented.

*NOT from scratch :)

Soccer girl

Getting ready to play the "real" game after the mini practice. For Eden's age group, they just meet at game time on Saturdays (no other practices). There are two small fields and each team takes a field for practice for the first half hour. Then, they divide the teams and play two games simultaneously for the second half hour. The shirt tucked in with the high shorts was her idea, I promise! :)

She was very excited because she got to kick the ball in from the sideline.

Checking on her team mate- don't be overly impressed though....

....As soon as she saw there was no blood, she ran off to join the game again.
All in all a great game, and I think we won this first session of bunch-ball. Eden will be playing every Saturday thru May! I had second thoughts when I realized I'd have to pass up a chance to participate in a (sort of) local 5k/10k in order to be at the game, but Eden is having a great time playing, so I think it was worth it. She's so glad Scott was her "first soccer coach" so she "already knew the rules a little".

My husband is awesome! ...and other shenanigans

There's been a couple things I thought would be great to do around the house, even if its not ours and we've probably only got a year left. I made a deal with Scott that he could go get whatever tool(s) he needed if he would take care of some of these 'honey-do' list items. He took Andrew and after much deliberation came home with a handheld circular saw and some wood. Look how great Scott's projects turned out!

a second shelf and lower the closet rod in Eden & Andrew's room- now they can hang-up their own clothes (we just have to convince them to actually do it!)

and he installed the stair gate, complete with wood pieces cut to fit over the molding (my original idea was to just take the molding off, but my friend Laura suggested this alternative- thanks!)

Eden and Andrew having way too much fun with the gate box. Yes, they are both INSIDE the box!

One of Jacob's current favorite spots to play. He rolls/scoots himself in there all by himself. I really don't know if he'll ever truly crawl. He's got some mad skills when it come to rolling and inchworming his way around the house. (I really should get it on video)
